Chef Mark will send you a handheld camera in the mail, which you will use to shoot your footage.
You’ve seen “flip” style cameras everywhere lately. They’re easy to use, even for a novice. It’s best to get a spouse, friend, or techie teenager to help you, since you’ll want to be the one on camera! He’ll send you his video tipsheet, and even suggest a list of the shots you’ll need to show off your personal chef business.
When you’re finished shooting to your hearts content, you’ll simply send the camera back, and Chef Mark will edit your footage, together with additional photos of your food, into a finished video with music, transitions, & opening branded logo sequence using your company logo.

Chef Mark will be offering a special event on August 1, 2010 as part of the USPCA National Conference in Denver, Colorado.
Lights! Camera! Action! will offer you the opportunity to have your own special video shot by Chef Mark using the HD Camera and Professional lighting and audio equipment he uses for clients all over the world! By shooting many videos for different clients all in one day, he can offer you a much lower price than if you were to hire him for the day yourself. PLUS, you won’t have to pay for his travel fees to come to you!
We’ll be using a professional demonstration kitchen at a Kitchen Design Center in Denver, with a professional lighting setup and pro audio equipment. You will be scheduled in 1 hour blocks, which will be enough time to shoot an introduction, where you speak about your business, and you’ll even be able to demonstrate your signature dish!
Just as with the regular “remote service”, you’ll get Chef Mark’s tipsheets, video coaching, and phone consultation to help you develop your concept. You’ll also be able to bring photos of your food and any other video that you capture yourself at home as “B-Roll” to overlay over the main video. However, you’ll also get the benefit of Chef Mark’s expertise in shooting in person, as well as the added benefit of the higher quality studio setup. As a registrant to the USPCA National Conference in Denver, you’ll have the advantage of scheduling your video shoot on the Sunday of conference, which won’t require you to come in early or stay late, thus saving you added travel expense.
